September 15, 2017Capital Roots’ 11th Annual Autumn Evening in the Garden
Capital Roots will host their 11th Annual Autumn Evening in the Garden gala where more than 350 guests will gather to sample culinary fare, highlighting fresh meat, produce and dairy provided by 44 local farmers and producers and prepared by 22 of the region’s top chefs, bakers and dessert creators. The event will also feature music provided by The Neil Brown Jazz Quartet and beverage tastings supplied by local beverage purveyors, including 1857 Spirits, Adirondack Pub & Brewery, Adirondack Winery, Albany Distilling Company, Inc., Altamont Vineyard & Winery, Chatham Brewery, Hudson-Chatham Winery, Nine Pin Cider, Rare Form Brewing Company, Shmaltz Brewing Company and Spill’n The Beans. Proceeds benefit Capital Roots’ programs, including 52 Community Gardens, the Veggie Mobile®, the Produce Project, Healthy Stores, Squash Hunger and more.
The event will take place on Thursday, September 28 from 6-9 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn – 235 Hoosick Street, Troy.
