July 11, 2017Ribbon Cutting for Official Opening After Expansion of Forensic Accounting Firm
Local Forensic Accountant, Pamela D. Wickes, CPA, CFE, CFF, ABV, is celebrating the expansion of the business she founded during 2016, Wickes Forensic Accounting & Consulting, LLC. Earlier this year Wickes hired Marina Migliore, CPA and moved the growing practice into a larger office suite at 125 Wolf Rd. Wickes also utilizes independent contractors, as needed, who are experienced in forensic accounting services.
Wickes is an experienced forensic accountant with substantial background in a wide variety of financial investigations, economic damages, other financial matters, litigation support and consulting engagements. She has more than 20 years of diversified experience in the areas of private and public accounting and multiple fields of forensic accounting, which include family law matters; valuations; fraud prevention, detection and response; financial statement misrepresentation; economic damages calculations; other civil and criminal matters; and electronic data analysis. Further details about the services provided by the firm can be found at www.wickesforensicaccounting.com.
She picked her location on Wolf Road because of the suite of services offered by the Anderson Development Group, the landlord, as it was important to Wickes to have all the resources of the big firms she was used to working for. Yet, without all the overhead, she is able to provide her clients personalized services at lower billing rates.
Wickes said “I feel that my clients deserve to be treated as I would want to be treated. This, coupled with my experience and love for this niche area of accounting, benefits each client I work with to effectively and efficiently complete their engagement.” She specializes in providing objective analysis to clients, allowing them to make better informed decisions about disputes, litigation or other critical business challenges. She prides herself on reporting the procedures performed and the results thereof in a concise and understandable manner, which is more difficult than it sounds.
Wickes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified in Financial Forensics and Accredited in Business Valuation.
