June 1, 2017O’Malley Joins Tech Valley Office Interiors
Jaclin O’Malley recently joined the staff at Tech Valley Office Interiors and Nu2u Quality Used Office Furniture as an Interior Designer. As part of TVOI’s interior design team, O’Malley will develop and maintain responsibilities related to space planning, design and product selection of the more than 70 manufacturers and pre-owned inventory that TVOI has at its disposal. She will also call on her experience in sales, marketing and customer service to help retain existing clients and develop the growing foundation of new customers.
O’Malley arrives at TVOI fresh off graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Cazenovia College. Her coursework there in hospitality design, universal design, contract interiors and building codes has contributed to her knowledge and understanding of the commercial contract furniture industry.
O’Malley has also spent the past two years as a student assistant with the New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities in Albany. While there, she developed a variety of space plans for office and home modifications, took part in official client meetings and consultations, managed inventory of project materials and completed on-site work experience throughout the State of New York.
A native of Wallkill, New York, O’Malley also served as an Interior Design Department Assistant throughout her career at Cazenovia.
