MacKenzie-Childs is excited to announce an exciting new
product partnership with fellow upstate New York brand Beekman 1802. The two brands
collaborated on a blooming-floral soap and lotion fragrant set in a hand painted Courtly Check
container, which will be available online for $75. Additionally, the two brands will work on
multiple co-branded opportunities including live appearances and future product collaborations.
Both companies drive hundreds of thousands of dollars of tourism dollars through their
respective communities each year. Mackenzie-Childs in Aurora, NY, and Beekman 1802 in
Sharon Springs, NY.
“Wonderful things happen when neighbors get together,” noted Rebecca Proctor, Creative
Director for MacKenzie-Childs. “We are huge fans of what the Beekman Boys are doing. It was
such a perfect opportunity for us to combine our hand-painted enamelware with their amazing
products.”
“We have long been fans of the whimsical beauty that MacKenzie-Childs brings into the world
and the delight that you can see on the faces of their customers,” noted Brent Ridge, co-founder
of Beekman 1802. “We particularly love that both of our companies started on upstate New York
farms—truly neighbors. We’ve used our expertise in producing farm-inspired skincare and
fragrances to create an incredible first collaboration.”
Josh Kilmer-Purcell, the other co-founder of Beekman 1802 ads. ‘Our company has been built
one neighbor at a time, and upstate NY will re-build itself by companies and organizations
working together to support one another.”
MacKenzie-Childs Creative Director Rebecca Proctor will be hosting the Beekman Boys for a
book signing and meet-and-greet in their Aurora store April 29th from 10am-4pm. Customers
and brand fans are invited to come out and say hello!
