February 15, 2017City Mission Innovates to Help Capital Region Businesses Improve Employee Retention
The Employer Resource Network (ERN), a workplace counseling service of City Mission, is providing new innovative solutions for helping businesses dramatically improve employee retention rates. The ERN has transformed over 32 businesses with 8,500 employees in the Capital Region.
On February 8, 2017, current and prospective members of the ERN gathered together for the annual report of statistics and progress at the Carondelet Hospitality Center in Latham.
The highlight of the event was a live panel discussion with five local Human Resources directors/professionals who shared their personal experience and testimonies on how their business is better and stronger because of the ERN. Panel speakers from Mazzone Hospitality, Ellis Medicine, Rehabilitation Support Services, Inc., Kingsway Community, and Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center shared their thoughts on the ERN’s impact on their businesses.
Justine Ochal is the Director of Human Resources at Mazzone Hospitality and she says, “Success Coaches have transformed how we work with our employees… we can give them a different level of care that we just didn’t have the time or resources to do before. The fact that we can do this and save money is truly astonishing.”
The Gazette wrote an article about the event and the program’s growth as a whole last week. Here’s a link to the article if you’d like to include it or refer to it for more information.
