Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP is very pleased to announce that the following attorneys recently received the Upstate New York Super Lawyers distinction for 2016: James B. Ayers (10 year recognition), Terresa M. Bakner, Heather D. Diddel, Philip H. Dixon, Margaret J. Gillis, Philip H. Gitlen, Neil L. Levine, Norma G. Meacham, Jason L. Shaw, and Michael Whiteman. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5% of lawyers nominated receive this recognition.
The Firm is also pleased to announce that associate Myles B. Fischer was named for the first time to the Upstate New York Rising Stars. Mr. Fischer joins the prior Upstate New York Rising Stars from the Firm that were again selected for 2016: Javid Afzali, Leonard J. D’Arrigo, Amanda E. Jackson, William S. Nolan and Robert A. Stout, Jr. Only 2.5% of attorneys nominated receive this recognition.
Mr. Fischer is an Associate in the Firm’s Estate Planning and Administration and Federal and State Taxation Practice Groups. Mr. Fischer is admitted to practice in New York.
