June 29, 2016architecture+ names Senior Healthcare Architect
architecture+, a design and service oriented architecture and planning firm, is pleased to announced that Alison G. Leonard, AIA, EDAC, of Clifton Park, New York, has been named Senior Healthcare Architect. In this role, she will manage complex healthcare projects and conduct research to enhance the firm’s design capabilities. Leonard, a graduate of Roger Williams University, joined architecture+ in 2008. Her commitment to healthcare design is demonstrated by her EDAC™ accreditation (Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification). She is also a member of our Patient Safety Standards Team and regularly contributes through research and evaluation of new and existing products for consideration. She is currently working on the design of a pediatric inpatient behavioral health unit at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a new Behavioral Health Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and a new building for the Albany Addictions Care Center. architecture+ has been serving clients in healthcare, government, education, and other cultural and community organizations in the Capital District for more than 30 years.
