In the spirit of the Tibetan Prayer Flags you are invited to participate in a “from the heart” project at Her Treasure Box.
As so many know Eyes Wide Open and Her Treasure Box were born out of the sheer thought that art can heal even the deepest wounds. With the contributions and donations of so many creative people Her Treasure Box was opened in March and is now overflowing with creative materials, ideas and spirit.
They have begun creating Hope Flags to let everyone know there is always hope. No matter your life circumstances, skills, abilities, economic or social place in the world Hope thrives.
Join them in creating a hope flag of your own to donate to Her Treasure Box. All proceeds to go toward their “hope chest” ((house) which is their next step in their program of helping survivors of human trafficking. It is just around the corner and they want to be ready!
The only requirement in submitting flags is that somewhere on the flag is the word HOPE!
Otherwise you may use any medium, craft, size, shape, design, materials, no rules!
Bring your flags to Her Treasure Box, an art and craft thrift supply shop, located at 1775 Van Vranken Avenue in Schenectady.
And remember… Everyone is creative!!!
