June 2, 2016Michael Balboa Joins Fenimore as CFO
After 23 years of service to the firm, Joseph Bucci is retiring as CFO of Fenimore Asset Management, 
the investment advisor to FAM Funds in Cobleskill, New York. In 2009, the Business Review voted Joe as “CFO of the Year” for Medium Private Companies.
“We wish Joe health and happiness in his retirement and thank him for his dedicated service to both Fenimore and community over the years,” said Founder and Chairman Tom Putnam.
As a result, Michael Balboa has been appointed CFO. Mike previously worked as a Senior Manager in the Financial Services office at Ernst & Young, Senior Accountant at Deloitte & Touche, and Accountant for Hartford Investment Management Company. Mr. Balboa received his BS in Accounting from Providence College and his MS in Accounting from University of Connecticut. He has earned the accreditations of Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant.
