April 3, 2018The Chamber Ambassador of 2017 is Crowned!
On Tuesday, April 3 during the Annual Ambassador Appreciation Luncheon the 2017 Ambassador of the Year was crowned. The well deserved recipient was Executive Director of the YMCA of Glenville, Donna Gigone. Donna’s many years of service to her community made her a perfect candidate for the Ambassador Committee. Donna’s extensive work with the committee found her interacting with Chamber members and community leaders throughout the Capital District. As a regional Chamber, the Ambassadors are asked to travel to locations outside their normal territory. Donna did this exceptionally well in 2017 and her commitment did not go unrecognized. She also exemplified the type of person the Chamber looks for in the delivery of our mission message. She does this extremely well because she truly believes in the betterment of our community as a whole. She understands the concept of give and take and through volunteering she makes our community a better place. The Chamber is proud of you, Donna, and we hope we have many more years of your unwavering support!
