BBC Film Crew at NYS Capitol Tomorrow

The Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau, along with Senator Neil Breslin, will be hosting a film crew and host from BBC TWO, a second television channel operated by the British Broadcasting Corporation, on Tuesday, August 18.

The crew will be filming for an upcoming episode of Great American Railway Journeys, which is hosted by Michael Portillo, a former member of British Parliament. The series is scheduled to air in early 2016, and will retrace American history along popular 19th century railways.

The crew will be arriving at the State Street entrance of the New York State Capitol at about 10 a.m. with the host filming a short segment outside before proceeding within the Capitol to meet with Senator Neil Breslin until about 1 p.m.

Local crews are asked to refrain from disrupting the BBC crew during filming.
