Your Voice, Your Values, Your Vocation…Doing you authentically; while explaining you succinctlyJanuary 28, 2020
11:30am - 1:00pm
Presented by the Women’s Business Council
We’ve all been advised to have our “elevator pitch,” the words that summarize who we are, what we do and how our audience can be of value. Is it shameless self-promotion? Maybe, but so what. Being humble won’t get you noticed, won’t build your customer base, or position you for your next role. Besides, if you don’t promote you, your business, your brand or your passion, who will? But how do we take the “shameless” out of the self-promotion trope? We take it out by being genuinely excited about where we are now and what lies ahead.
Join Dr. Shai L. Butler, the CEO (Chief Encouragement Officer) by vocation and Vice President for Student Development & Diversity at The College of Saint Rose by profession, as she guides you through the steps that will help you learn yourself, love yourself and be yourself, unapologetically. By the end of the session, you will be excited about you and ready to share yourself with others. Leave with a deeper awareness of self and your elevator pitch in hand.
