PechaKucha Night

October 24, 2018
5:30pm - 8:00pm

Presented by the Tech Valley Young Professionals Network

So, what is a PechaKucha Night? PechaKucha Night or (PKN) is an event in which multiple speakers conduct concise and fast-paced presentations solely comprised of images. This concept was developed in 2003 by an architectural firm in Tokyo as a fun, relaxed way for people to share their work, ideas, and hidden talents, and has since spread to more than 700 major cities world-wide, including Albany! The concept is simple; each speaker must come up with 20 images that will appear on the screen for exactly 20 seconds each, while they engage the audience for a total of 6 minutes 40 seconds.

YPN is excited to host this fun and unique event to showcase the diversity of culture, backgrounds, and experiences that contribute to the beauty of the Capital Region. We invite you to join us and hear from local business leaders and community members who will be presenting at this year’s event. You don’t want to miss out!
