More than just cash, Capital Region Sponsor-A-Scholar provides students in the Albany, Schenectady and Troy public high schools with the academic preparation, mentoring and financial assistance they need to graduate from high school and succeed in college. Scholars in the program graduate from college at an impressive rate, thanks to the network of support they develop through the program. Sponsor-A-Scholar has worked with donors, volunteers, teachers and community partners for more than 20 years to create a path to achievement for each scholar.
