Things of My Very Own Celebrates Ten Years

The Chamber was so happy to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Things of My Very Own on Friday, June 8th. Rayne Bonce, founder/owner/operator, incorporated Things of My Very Own, Inc. in 2008 to bridge the gap between what social services and community services agencies are able to provide and what children need.
Over the past ten years, the organization has grown from start-up, to an essential component in the family services system. The organization has been contacted by county, state and government agencies throughout the globe about expanding its services, due to the success of its programs and its effective approach to serving those in crisis. Things of My Very Own, Inc. serves as a model for replication in areas of crisis intervention services, as well as fiscally responsible non-profit management.

Things of My Very Own, Inc. marks its tenth anniversary by committing itself to becoming even more of a key component in the lives of those in crisis. The organization will extend its reach beyond ensuring basic needs, to providing services for ongoing follow-up and support, which will ensure that families stay on track to long-term stability.
