The Schenectady County Historical Society Presents A Summer American Girl Tea with Caroline Abbott

Join the Schenectady County Historical Society as they enjoy the outdoors at Mabee Farm! They will discuss Caroline’s experience growing up on Lake Ontario during the War of 1812 and talk about farm life, traveling by water, and see the boats in the Mohawk River behind the farm. In their outdoor pavilion, visitors will make a craft and enjoy some iced tea and goodies.

This special event will take place on Wednesday July 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Mabee Farm Historic Site, 1100 Main Street, Rotterdam Junction. The event costs $5.00 each for adults and children.

The Historical Society asks that each child bring an adult to accompany him or her, and dolls are welcome too! Advance registration is required. Please contact Kaitlin Morton-Bentley at exhibits@schenectadyhistorical.org or 518.374.0263 ext 4 for more information.
