The Rite Aid Foundation to Grant Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady $20,000 as Part of Their “Big Hearts Give” Challenge

The Rite Aid Foundation will grant Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady $20,000 as part of their “Big Hearts Give” Challenge at a check presentation event on February 11 at 1 p.m. at the Rite Aid Store, 1203 Eastern Ave in Schenectady.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady is an official Rite Aid Kid Cents Charity. Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady was invited to participate in Rite Aid Foundation’s “Big Hearts Give” Challenge from October 1, 2015 to January 31, 2016. Those participating charities who reached 300 or more new Kid Cents designations by the contest deadline would receive a grant for $20,000 from Rite Aid Foundation. With help from Union College’s Chi Psi Fraternity and a Union College Marketing Intern—Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady not only reached the goal, but surpassed it! We would love to share our story about how Union College students stepped up in our hour of need and helped us achieve our goal. Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady could not have done this without their help, and of course, not without the generosity of Rite Aid.
