St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates (SPHPMA), an affiliate corporation of St. Peter’s Health Partners (SPHP) – the region’s largest, most comprehensive health system – has appointed Janice D. Macke, as chief financial officer.
Macke has served as director of finance for SPHPMA since its inception in 2013. She has more than 25 years of experience in public and health care accounting. Prior to joining SPHPMA, Macke served as the director of finance and controller for Prime Care Physicians, PLLC, for more than 17 years.
“Janice has been a critical part of our development and growth over the last three years,” said Donald G. Martin, MHA, CHE, CMPE, chief executive officer of SPHPMA. “We greatly appreciate her expertise and leadership.”
Macke has an associate’s degree in business administration from the Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, Mass; and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Over the course of her career, she has held public accountancy certificates in New York, New Jersey, and Colorado.
A resident of East Greenbush, Macke is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Medical Group Management Association.
