February 23, 2017Sonic Opens in Second Capital Region Location in Troy
The second Sonic is now open in the Capital Region! The Chamber helped with the ribbon cutting on Wednesday, February 15. The new location is located at 120 Hoosick Street, Troy. The Sonic staff was accompanied by local officials, friends and family members. The location is one of six that will be popping up throughout the Capital Region. If you recall, the first opened in Latham on Troy-Schenectady Road. The franchise is new in this area, and the large menu is a welcome change from the standard fast food establishments. In addition, the car-side experience – especially in the summer – is a unique aspect of the chain.
