Pioneer Bank Opens New Branch In Downtown Schenectady

Tom Amell, CEO of Pioneer Bank is joined by Board Members, staff, local officials, vendors, family and friends as he cuts the ribbon to open the Banks newest branch at 426 State Street in downtown Schenectady. The new branch features new Interactive Teller Machines which enhances the banking experience. Based in Troy and appearing on a small screen,  interactive teller will guide customers on how to deposit checks, withdraw money and view their account balances.

Pioneer plans to add more Interactive Teller Machines to its other locations in the future. The Branch also has a mini store featuring holiday gifts in addition to stationery supplies. The money make from the store goes to local nonprofits. The branch also features a conference room that is available for public use including after hours.  Jeff Desnoyers is the branch manager and the downtown branch is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
