Northern Rivers Names Executive Program Director of Behavioral Health

Northern Rivers Family of Services announced that Amy DiRamio, LCSW-R, has been named Executive Program Director of Behavioral Health, overseeing Northern Rivers Behavioral Health Centers (BHCs) in Albany and Schenectady.

The BHCs, located at 401 New Karner Road in Albany and 530 Franklin Street in Schenectady, are New York State Office of Mental Health licensed clinics that offer mental health counseling to the general public.

DiRamio joined the organization in 2007 as a clinician at the Albany BHC, and was promoted to director in 2014. She previously served as a clinical social worker for Seton Health System and as a social worker with Bellevue Women’s Center. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, and her master of social work from the University at Albany.
