Northern Rivers Family of Services has announced the promotion of Lori Favata to Executive Program Director of Home & Community Based Services (HCBW) and Tom McBride to Assistant Controller for the organization.
Favata will oversee the provision of Medicaid waiver services for children at Northern Rivers member organizations Northeast Parent & Child Society and Parsons Child & Family Center in the HCBW and Bridges to Health (B2H) programs; manage relationships with subcontracted organizations and guide the ongoing development of community-based services for children and adults.
In addition to more than 10 years with the organization, Favata also served as a supplier manager of healthcare benefits delivery for General Electric Healthcare. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Siena and her master’s degree in counseling from Sage Graduate School.
McBride will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, general ledger system administration, cash and investments, preparation for external audits, and account reconciliations for Northern Rivers, Northeast and Parsons.
He joined the organization in 2011 as a budget analyst. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Siena and his MBA from Union Graduate College.
