March 22, 2017Koppett partners with The Association for Talent Development for LISTEN UP! webcast
Kat Koppett, Koppett, and founding partner Michael Burns are partnering with ATD (The Association for Talent Development) to present a webinar on using improv skills to improve listening skills, titled LISTEN UP! The webinar is in coordination with the soon to be published booklet of the same name. This session will be held on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 from 1:00pm- 2:00pm and will address questions such as: What does it really mean to listen well? How can we grow our listening “muscles?” How can we notice more, understand more deeply, and engage with more curiosity? Through improv tenants, attendees will have the opportunity to test their listening skills, learn to distinguish “listening as a friend” from “listening as a foe,” explore the multiple dimensions of listening and learn how listening can be a relationship-building and problem solving tool.
