Key Donates $15,000 to Four Area Organizations

KeyBank announced it has donated $15,000 to four area nonprofit organizations at its annual Gifts to the Community reception, held in its Capital Region headquarters office at 66 South Pearl Street in downtown Albany.

“The Gifts to the Community holiday reception has always been about showing appreciation to our clients and community leaders, as well as giving back to the community,” said Ruth Mahoney, president, Capital Region, KeyBank. “With the increased needs within our community, the nonprofit organizations that do so much for our region need more help than ever. With the support and encouragement of our clients, we are proud that during the holiday season we are able to give back a little more.”

The four organizations receiving support were:

– Capital City Rescue Mission: $4,650

– CAPTAIN Youth & Family Services: $3,900

– Schenectady Inner City Ministries: $2,400

– Vanderheyden Hall: $4,050
