Girl Scouts of Northeast NY Chooses CPI to Provide Managed IT Services

Computer Professionals International (CPI), a Schenectady, NY based managed IT services provider, has been chosen by Girl Scouts of Northeast New York (GSNENY) to manage their day to day information technology environment.  CPI was selected among a field of four other managed service providers as part of a thorough RFP process conducted by the Girl Scouts.

After losing their full time IT resource, Kimberly Kurtzner, GSNENY’s Controller decided to outsource their day to day IT management in order to have the best possible skillset and continuity of services.  CPI was selected after a very thorough and diligent vetting process of five managed service providers. Kurtzner said, “We had decided to make a transformative change to our IT operation by selecting an external managed service provider.  I wanted to be sure that the group we selected would, not merely be technically capable, but more importantly, was an organization that we felt would work well with our employees.”

On selecting CPI, Kurtzner commented, “CPI’s total approach – from the thoroughness of their RFP response to the on-site presentation they did – convinced me that they were the best fit for our organization.  They were very organized and attended to every detail.  And, CPI was very competitively priced.”

Joe Cunningham, General Manager of CPI said, “Our team worked hard on this solution for Girl Scouts and our approach was very intentional.  It was gratifying for me to have GSNENY’s leadership see, first hand, the things that we believe differentiate us from our competition.”

Since CPI has taken on the day to day management and oversight of the GSNENY’s IT systems, Kurtzner said “Our employees have had nothing but great things to say about their experiences with CPI’s customer support center and field service team.  CPI has made our decision to move to a managed service provider a non-issue for our employees.  They have been great to work with.”
