Free Outdoor Festivities at SummerFest from 1 to 3 p.m. at Delaware Branch

WHAT

  • Free community party celebrating summer reading fun at the library
  • Library provides free activities, games, prizes, entertainment, and snacks, with thanks to SummerFest sponsors Price Chopper, Stewart’s Shops, and Friends of Albany Public Library
  • The whole Delaware Avenue area is participating in the festivities with sidewalk sales and specials by merchants, and a neighborhood-wide garage sale by residents

  • Saturday, July 11, from 1 to 3 p.m.

WHERE

  • SummerFest activities on outside patios, backyard, and parking lot of the Delaware Branch at 331 Delaware Ave.

WHO

  • Hundreds of kids and their families enjoying the free activities of SummerFest, including bounce houses, games, live music by local band Kimono Dragons, up-close magic by Mr. Magicman, and snacks outside at the beautiful Delaware Branch of Albany Public Library

PHOTO AND VIDEO OPPORTUNITIES

  • All of the outside spaces at the Delaware Branch overflowing with kids and their families enjoying bounce houses, mini golf, basketball, sidewalk chalk, hula hoops, misting tents, ice cream treats, and more between 1 and 3 p.m. this Saturday
