Educational Vistas, Inc. Celebrates 25 Years of Growth and Prosperity

The Chamber was on hand as Scott Crowder, CEO of Educational Vistas, Inc., threw a grand 25 Year Anniversary celebration. The event took place at Key Hall in Schenectady. Scott and crew, as well as local elected officials, clients, friends and family had a short ceremony followed by an after-party catered by Mazzone Hospitality. A cake was officially cut for the occasion. Scott was also accompanied by his parents who started the company around a table discussion in 1993.  They knew there was a way to integrate technology into our schooling process to make it more efficient and the students more successful.

CEO Scott Crowder explained, “What differentiates us is that we will not hand our clients a product in a box. Our goal is always to solve difficult problems through integrated and efficient software solutions, then to train and support school stakeholders in the use of those systems to improve all aspects of the educational process.”

Educational Vistas, Inc. was incorporated 25 years ago on May 27, 1993, by its founders Dr. Bruce H. Crowder, Mrs. Lenore M. Crowder, and Scott B. Crowder. Dr. Crowder is a former NYS Assistant Commissioner of Education for Quality Assurance and the State’s Excellence and Accountability Program, superintendent, principal, and teacher. Mrs. Lenore M. Crowder is EVI’s Owner/President, and Scott B. Crowder is the CEO with 38+ years of technical experience in the design, delivery, and training related to software products. Scott’s son, Lukas J. Crowder, MBA, has been with the firm for 10 years and is now the Accounts and Operations Manager.

We wish Scott and his family many more years of success.  We hope we are fortunate enough to be invited back in the next 25!
