Dr. Martha Lepow Guest Speaker at Niskayuna Rotary

You’re not going to believe this.  Dr. Martha Lepow, who assisted Dr. Salk in curing Polio, will be the guest speaker at Niskayuna Rotary on August 22, 2017.  Included in her presentation is the 20-minute video, “The End of Polio: A Pioneer’s Story” which features Dr. Lepow.  The story unfolds from the start of the epidemic through today’s challenges of eliminating the disease worldwide. Rotary’s role is featured throughout. Dr. Lepow and Carol Whittaker, Founding Director of the Center for Global Health, will show the video and lead the discussion to follow. The public is welcome to hear their story on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM at the Blue Ribbon Restaurant & Bakery, 1801 State St (Route 5). Come and be amazed.
