Community Bank N.A. Welcomes Experienced Commercial Banking Officer to Albany Team

Community Bank N.A. is pleased to announce Ken Countermine has joined its Albany Commercial Lending team as vice president, commercial banking officer. Countermine brings to the team 23 years of experience in the financial industry.

In his new role, Countermine will provide banking solutions for the technology, manufacturing, higher-education, nonprofit and service industries. He will be responsible for managing new business with present and prospective commercial customers, as well as maintaining current customer relationships.

Countermine joins the Community Bank N.A. team from TD Bank, spending 15 years with the bank in various roles. He most recently served as vice president, middle market senior relationship manager. Prior, Countermine worked for New York State Tax and Finance, Evergreen Bank and Amsterdam Savings Bank.

Regional Executive Jeff Levy said. “Ken has more than two decades of experience serving as a trusted adviser to commercial clients. He brings to the team an extensive experience structuring capital solutions for large and mid-sized companies, which will be a great asset to our clients.”

Outside of the office, Countermine is actively involved in his community, serving as a volunteer for Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York and a mentor in Tech Valley Young Professionals Network’s mentor program. Additionally, he is a member of the Schenectady Community College Foundation Board and chair of its finance committee.

Countermine earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from Siena College and his Master of Business Administration in finance from University at Albany. He also is a graduate of New York Bankers Association’s Management School for Career Development. Countermine resides in Glenville with his wife, Kate, and their two daughters.
