CAP COM and Hannaford Supermarkets Partner to Feed 400 Local Families

CAP COM Federal Credit Union is partnering with Hannaford Supermarkets to feed nearly 400 families this Thanksgiving. For the past 5 years Hannaford Supermarkets has generously supported the CAP COM Cares Foundation’s Sharing the Harvest Thanksgiving program by donating all non-perishable food items including potatoes, stuffing, gravy, canned vegetables and more while the Foundation fundraises throughout the year to purchase fresh turkeys, pies and bread from Hannaford to complete the meals.

“This partnership is a true example of one that we can count on year after year. We know when there is a need in our community, especially a need that relates to helping alleviate hunger, Hannaford Supermarkets will be there to lend a helping hand,” said Amanda Goyer, CAP COM’s Community Relations Manager. “We are beyond grateful for their support.”

45 volunteers from CAP COM’s employee base will deploy the week of Thanksgiving to deliver meal bags to 23 local organizations in our community.
