Brett Bisping Named to NABC Honors Court

Brett Bisping has been named to the 2014-15 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court. The Honors Court recognizes juniors and seniors who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2014-15 academic year.

Bisping, who played just six games in 2014-15 before a season-ending toe injury, carries a 3.29 cumulative in finance.

Bisping averaged 11.5 points and 6.5 rebounds as a sophomore in 2013-14 and has two years of eligibility remaining. He’s expected to play a leadership role for the Saints this season on and off the court. In December he was one of 158 nominees for the NABC Allstate Goodworks Team.

A record number of 1,000 student athletes from more than 350 colleges and universities were named to this year’s Honors Court.
