2016 Stakeholders Impact Awards Nominating Process is Now Open!

Join The Stakeholders Civic Engagement Council at the IMPACT Awards to honor the superlative work of individuals and corporations that have enhanced the community by engaging and sharing their many resources. Discover what some of the New York Capital Region’s most philanthropic and volunteer centric individuals and companies are doing – from the C-suite to entry-level employees – to tie volunteerism back to bottom-line business results, regardless of size, industry or structure.

The IMPACT Awards are presented by the Stakeholders Civic Engagement Council. The Civic Engagement Council supports its members in their strategic commitment to volunteerism and civic engagement.

The IMPACT Awards

CORPORATE VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award honors exemplary corporate employee volunteer programs that effectively integrate volunteerism into the company’s business culture.

BUSINESS-TO-NONPROFIT PARTNERSHIP IMPACT AWARD
This award is presented to programs or projects that have collaborated with a nonprofit organization to achieve significant measurable community improvement results.

BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP IMPACT AWARD
This award is presented to programs or projects that have collaborated with another business to achieve significant, measurable community improvement results.

SKILLS-BASED VOLUNTEERISM AWARD
This award recognizes a skills-based volunteer project that has been completed within one year and has achieved significant, measurable results.

OUTSTANDING PROJECT AWARD
This award is presented for a short-term community improvement or volunteerism project that has been completed within one year and has achieved significant, measurable results.

VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
Recognizes an individual who has led the charge of volunteerism within their company or non-profit organization by demonstrating a true investment into the well-being of the communities in which they operate.

EVERYDAY HERO AWARD
Recognizes a first responder, disaster service volunteer or veteran who has had a significant impact in their community.

SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES AWARD
Recognizes an individual, business or group project for demonstrating leadership or innovation in programs or principles that advance sustainability and environmental stewardship in our community.

YOUNG PHILANTHROPIST AWARD
Recognizes a next generation philanthropist (under 45) who has had significant GOBY on a nonprofit organization or a community project through their personal philanthropy efforts.

ARTS AMBASSADOR AWARD
Recognizes an individual who has made a significant GOBY upon an arts & cultural Institution and/or the promotion of arts & culture in our community.

COMMUNITY MENTORSHIP AWARD
Recognizes an individual committed to service and philanthropy who, by example and mentorship, cultivates a spirit of service and philanthropy for the next generation.
